Personal information is used to respond to enquiries, discuss potential projects, provide building design services, prepare proposals, manage client communication and meet any relevant legal or administrative requirements.

Cookies and browser storage

This website uses essential cookies and similar browser storage to operate and protect the site. Firebase App Check may cache security tokens in browser storage, while Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise may set the necessary _GRECAPTCHA cookie. These measures help distinguish genuine use from fraud, spam and automated abuse. The site does not currently use cookies for advertising or behavioural tracking. This policy will be updated if these practices materially change.

Disclosure of Information

Personal information may be shared where reasonably necessary to provide services, operate this website or communicate with you. This may include service providers used for website hosting, security and email delivery, as well as consultants, certifiers, councils, contractors or other parties involved in a project. Personal information will not be sold or shared for unrelated marketing purposes.

Google Maps Platform

The project-address field may use Google Maps Platform to suggest Australian addresses. If you use an address suggestion, your search text and related technical request data are processed by Google under the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. You can instead enter an address, Lot/DP number or location description manually.

Website Hosting, Security and Abuse Prevention

This website is hosted using Firebase and uses Google Cloud services to process website requests and contact-form submissions. These services may process technical information such as IP addresses in order to serve the website, execute form requests, detect abuse and provide security.

When you interact with the project-address field or submit the contact form, Firebase App Check and Google Cloud reCAPTCHA Enterprise may also process attestation information and technical, browser or device signals to distinguish genuine use from fraud, spam and automated abuse. Google may set a necessary _GRECAPTCHA cookie for this purpose. These checks are not used by Hana Design for advertising.

Email Delivery

Enquiries submitted through this website are delivered to Hana Design using Resend. Information included in an enquiry, such as your name, email address, phone number, project address or location and message, may therefore be processed by Resend for the purpose of transmitting and delivering the enquiry email. More information is available in the Resend Privacy Policy.

Overseas Processing

Some third-party service providers used by this website may process information outside Australia. Resend states that personal information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Google and Firebase services operate using Google's infrastructure and may process information in locations relevant to the services being provided.

Storage and Security

Reasonable steps are taken to keep personal information secure and protected from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

Access and Correction

You may request access to personal information held about you, or ask for it to be corrected if it is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
